Projects
Every once in a while I receive emails from developers asking if it's ok to use my menu. Here's a list of the software I know is using it:
- TreePad Business Edition
v6.1 integrates the tree menu for one of its HTML export features. See TreePad as a Website Generator for more information about how it works.
- Leaky Tree Menu is a project started by MattiArias in which the tree menu is used, but modified so it collapses towards the left. This reduces the need for whitespace and makes the menu more compact.
- TP2HTML, a utility to convert TreePad files to HTML, with the tree menu providing content navigation.
- Favorez is a plug-in for the Internet Explorer 5+ toolbar giving a web page of the favourites in your browser. One of the available skins found uses the tree menu for navigation.
- AurigaDoc is a java-xml-xsl based documentation engine for writing xml documents and converting them to other open formats like HTML, DHTML, RTF and PDF. The tree menu is used in the DHTML export feature providing navigation between the documents.
- MyMTM is a MySQL/PHP backend to give you an easy way to edit the tree menu for your website. For more info you can also read what William Dennis wrote about it on the message board.
- JSiteMap is a Java-based site map generator that combined with Xenu's Link Sleuth (TM) auto-generates the tree menu code for a complete map of your website.
