First I got a couple of reports that Internet Explorer on Windows NT froze and required a Ctrl-Alt-Del to close. I've now also seen that IE can freeze when running under Windows 95. After the intial reports about the IE/NT problem I got a report saying it had been fixed. The IE/95 problem happened with version 2.1.1.
It's not a bug in the menu, if you ask me. It's IE that's the problem since some installations work fine and some don't. The bug only happens when you link a style sheet into the document that is the menu. If you write plain HTML nothing happens, it's when you add the <LINK REL="stylesheet" ... > that IE crashes. To help fixing this problem the latest version of the menu has more support for fonts & colors so the menu can write an inline style sheet instead of needing a linked one.
The project pages on SourceForge contains amongst other things a bug tracker that's updated whenever someone reports a bug or when one is fixed. It's therefore a useful tool to see what it currently known problems and what have been fixed. It can be access by going to the project home page, there follow the link marked "Bugs".
